Rhoda`s Restaurant in Taos Ski Valley

One of the worst place to eat at Ski Taos, my small son wanted a burger, we had to send it back because it was raw inside. excessive prices for this level of quality. I will eat somewhere else next time

Good burger and fries. Clean and friendly.

Horribly slow service. Over an hour...not busy. Set us by the door had several tables open that I asked about and eventually we just moved ourselves after an hour. Hamburger raw inside and charred on the outside. Grilled cheese cold on arrival. Service felt very racist. Patrons from around the globe was awesome....the service to white Americans was not. Cannot get a beer in an hour is rediculous. And they stop serving at 3 or 330... Way to early. Need to change the front door arrangement...it is freezing in there! We left hungry and disappointed. Don't know if it growing pains or what but this place tops my do not patronize list! And I love to support native as I am myself Lakota/Midewan very pale skin. I felt discrimination at the door and at the table.

Horrible service, waited over an hour for 2 hamburgers. Management was no help what so ever.

Great place for a quick bite.

We went for apres and had all of their hot drinks. And loved them all. They have two versions of hot toddies and a coffee cocktails, and its pretty hard to pick a favorite. The coffee was delicious. We liked the sage and gin toddie so much that we bought the same tea in town so that we could try to make them at home. And the more classic version was also top! The staff was great, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.

It was jam packed! Skiers of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities... you name it! And yet, the staff served everyone efficiently and with a smile. It made for a pretty darn good experience.Oh, and the food was great, too! 😜

Service isn't the fastest, especially during the peak hours of peak season, but not any slower than most other mountain resort sit-down dining options. We had the fish tacos and roast pork BLT, both were terrific.

I loved the food when they were open after skiing. Went Monday and everything was delicious. Tried to go Wednesday and Thursday and both times they said they were not serving food despite the sign outside. Very disappointing. Stay open for condo guests!!!

Looked them up on Google. They looked good with 4 Stars. I'm sure that when they are open the place has great service and great taste foods. Disappointed no one answered when we called at 430pm. Maybe the construction had them temporarily closed. A web update will help future customers to know ahead of the frustration all may be dealing with.

Food was cold and beans were not cooked completely. It was busy but wait staff was very unattentive. Left with no lunch!

Chicken fried steak in New Mexico. I asked the waiter what he thought about the chicken fried steak, I told him I was from central Texas, he responded, "We've had some Texans tell us the steak was pretty good". So I went ahead and ordered. Surprisingly the chicken fried steak was really good. But it appears that shortly after that visit the Chicken Fried Steak was discontinued.To start the meal off I had the Rhodas Salad which was amazing. I'd only had a salad like this once before.. Mixed greens, dried cherries & candied nuts topped with a sweet Asian style vinaigrette.Staff was friendly, service was good. Food was a bit pricey but that's to be expected when eating at a ski resort restaurant.I would definitely eat here again if snowboarding on the mountain. I wasn't disappointed the first time, in fact I was rather impressed and surprised.

Serviceable food overall. Small serving of fries as a side. The burger I ordered Well came undercooked and was underwhelming overall. Kinda trapped on the mountain and don't have much choice, but I wouldn't order the new mexican burger again.

Quick service, good food. Packed for lunch due to proximity to the ski lift.

Good drinks

We had lunch at Rhoda's before an afternoon of skiing at Taos. The food was very good. I had their Turkey Club sandwich, which was very generously sized, and include a large helping of unusually tasty french fries. The wait staff was friendly and very courteous, and prices were ok for the amount of food. Only down side is that it took a little longer to get the food than I would have liked, but it arrived fresh and hot and the general ambience was hard to beat, sitting in the warm sun at the bottom of Al's run! The outside dining was in a sheltered spot, with radiant heaters, and was plenty warm enough on a sunny February day.

Just okay. Decent portions to fill you up adventuring on the mountain. Tortilla chips and tortillas are mass produced. Guess and chorizo was just queso with a few lumps of queso. Had a decent burger, club sandwich, and stew. Meat in the stew was a bit tough and the bread on the club sandwich was over toasted so that when you bit it hurt the inside of your mouth.

Quick service and unique speciality drinks!

The wings were incredibly bland. They rely strictly on you dipping the wing in either ranch or maple syrup. The wings have absolutely zero flavot. To be fair to this place , they supposedly have good burgers, we did not try them. Margaritas and mule were just ok, nothing special. Service was really good though.

Service has always been so-so, food is decent and they have a good beer selection for the most part! Had the Taos Turkey Sandwich, it was excellent!
